Description

The Festo CPX-CM-HPP is a control block designed to make electric drive technology compatible with all industrial communication interfaces. It is controlled via a CPX bus node, by a higher-order controller, or through a front end controller in the CPX terminal. Communication is standardized using the handling and positioning profile, making the control component independent of the bus node used. Up to 4 individual electric axes can be connected via CAN bus. No programming is required and quick configuration and diagnostics can be achieved through this control block.
