The Festo DHWS Series is a line of angle grippers designed for a wide range of applications due to the high gripping force. The slotted guide allows for interior and exterior gripping. The DHWS also contains an improved gripper jaw guide and can act as either a single or double-acting gripper. The compression spring in the gripper allows for support and retention of the gripping forces. Additionally, the DHWS features internal fixed throttling - eliminating the need for external throttling in many applications.
