The Festo DMSP Series is a line of fluidic muscles with a press-fitted connection. The hermetically sealed design offers protection against dust, dirt, and fluids. The uniform movement of the muscle allows for a no stick-slip effect. As a tensile actuator with contraction characteristics and pressed connection, the fluidic muscle is capable of clamping, vibrating, and shaking. The DMSP is available with a range of pneumatic connection options, as well as sizing available from 5 to 40mm.
