The Festo DSBG Series ISO Cylinder is double-acting and features a sturdy tie-rod design for applications in the process, mining, and mineral industries. It has contactless position sensing and offers the option of adding protection against rotation. Three types of cushioning are available — elastic, adjustable pneumatic, and self-adjusting pneumatic cushioning. Self-adjusting pneumatic end-position cushioning saves time during commissioning and adapts well to load and speed changes. A wide range of variants may also be configured to meet the needs of an application, such as protection against particles, high corrosion protection, heat resistance, or an EU certification for explosive environments.
