The Festo EGSK Series Electrical Slide is a ball screw linear actuator with excellent repetition accuracy and high rigidity. The EGSK series slide combines linear guide elements and the spindle nut of the ball screw in one component, thus avoiding an accumulation of manufacturing tolerances. This unit has a U-shaped steel housing that serves simultaneously as a guide rail, an electromechanical linear axis, and a ball screw drive without caged ball bearings. Custom variants of the EGSK series can be configured, including options for an additional slide, shorter slides, and high or precision accuracy.
