The Festo ELGC Series Spindle Axis provides smooth and precise running whether installed horizontally or vertically. It features an optimized weight design and compact double bearing integrated into the axis to save installation space. The ELGC series has an integrated recirculating ball bearing guide with a long service life, and a precise rigid guide rail to absorb high guide forces. The ball bearing guide and internal spindle are protected by a stainless steel cover strip that is kept in place by magnetic strips. It is available in four sizes with up to 1,000mm stroke and meets requirements for Class 7 cleanrooms and battery production applications.
