The Festo ELGR Series Toothed Belt Axis is a ready-to-install unit designed to execute simple movements at high speeds and is ideal for use in the machine tool industry. It is available with a recirculating or plain ball bearing guide with up to 1,500mm working stroke. A stepper motor ST may be included with the ELGR unit and the motor can be positioned on all four sides, with the option of changing the position at any time. The modular axis system features an open motor interface with customization options such as a stroke reserve, additional and longer slides, or the inclusion of an encoder or a brake.
