The Festo ELGS Series Toothed Belt Axis Unit is ideal for simple linear movements, such as shifting and lifting, in applications that require a high dynamic response and short positioning times. It is a compact unit with integrated controls, position sensing, and an internal guide that allows protection from external influences. The loadable toothed belt and recirculating ball bearing guide of the ELGS series provide dynamic XY movements. 

As part of the Simplified Motion Series, ELGS-TB is easy to configure and can operate directly without software. It does not need an external servo drive or control cabinet for installation. All parameters can be manually set directly on the drive via the two integrated control types: digital I/O and IO-Link.
