The Festo EMME Series Servo Motor is a powerful AC synchronous unit with an integrated encoder designed to be precise and reliable in dynamic applications. It is equipped with one of three encoder types, single-turn, muti-turn, or multi-turn with Hiperface. The encoder encoder supplies motor data, speed, and position signals to a higher-order servo drive or motor controller with digital signals.
