The Festo EPCE Series Electric Cylinder Unit provides simplified functionality for simple movements in applications using electric automation. It is a compact unit that utilizes short strokes and cycle times to allow fast movements that are ideal in test and inspection equipment, simple positioning tasks, labeling, and workpiece alignment. The EPCE is part of the Simplified Motion Series and features an integrated control system and two integrated control types: Digital I/O (DIO) and IO-Link. This allows the cylinder to be easily configured and ready to operate without additional software, an external servo motor, or a control cabinet.
