The Festo EPCS Series Electric Cylinder Unit is compact with a quiet and precise ball screw designed for simple movements and positioning tasks such as sorting, distribution, and clamping. It is part of the Simplified Motion Series that offers easy configuration and the ability to operate without additional software, external servo drive, or control cabinet. The EPCS features an integrated control panel, controller, and two control options: digital I/O and IO-Link. When used for pressing and clamping applications, it can implement forces up to 900N.
