The Festo ERMO Series Rotary Drive is a compact unit with an integrated motor and gearbox that works well as a precise front unit for handling solutions or as a compact rotary table in space-optimized systems. It features motor control with closed-loop operation and encoder, as well as robust output bearings for absorbing high forces and torques. It also has a pre-stressed rotating plate to prevent backlash and offers very good axial eccentricity and concentricity properties. Four sizes of the ERMO series are available with variants for changing the cable output direction, adding a holding brake, or the inclusion of an electric or pneumatic energy through-feed.
