The Festo HGPT Series Parallel Gripper uses a wedge mechanism with force-guided motion to translate linear motion into synchronized gripper jaw movement. The gripper features a plain-bearing guide with virtually backlash-free ground-in gripper jaws. It offers flexible application options, including use as a double-acting or single-acting gripper, with compression springs for supporting or retaining gripping forces. The HGPT is suitable for both external and internal gripping. It comes in sizes ranging from 16 to 80 mm, with various stroke lengths per gripper jaw.
