The Festo LFX Series Activated Carbon Filter is designed for removing liquid and gaseous oil particles from compressed air using activated carbon. These filters are available in three sizes: Mini, Midi, and Maxi, with various pneumatic connection options ranging from G1/8 to G1. The LFX series provides air quality conforming to ISO 8573-1:2010 standards, delivering compressed air with a residual oil content of ≤0.003 mg/m³, suitable for food industry applications.

These filters can be mounted vertically (±5°) and come with metal bowl guards. They are capable of handling flow rates from 360 to 1100 l/min, depending on the size. The LFX series operates in temperatures ranging from -10°C to +60°C and can handle pressures from 0 to 16 bar.

The filters are constructed using materials such as die-cast zinc for the housing, PC for the bowl, aluminum for the metal bowl guard, and activated carbon filter fabric for the filter element. All materials used are RoHS-compliant.
