Description

The Festo MLO LWG Series Displacement Encoder features a connecting rod design and is available in stroke lengths ranging from 100 mm to 750 mm. It offers high precision with a displacement resolution of 0.01 mm. They can operate at travel speeds up to 5 m/s and accelerations up to 200 m/s². The encoders are versatile, allowing for optional mounting positions and accommodating an angle offset of ±12.5° for the driver. 

These devices operate on a nominal voltage of DC 10 V, with a maximum operating voltage of DC 42 V. They have low current consumption and offer connection resistances varying from 3 kOhm to 10 kOhm depending on the stroke length. The non-dependent linearity improves with longer stroke lengths, ranging from 0.1% to 0.04%.
