Description

The Festo MME Series Displacement Encoder is designed for precise position measurement in industrial automation applications. It features a closed profile design with a moving slide and is available in various stroke lengths ranging from 225 mm to 2000 mm.

The encoder offers high precision with a displacement resolution of 0.01 mm and non-dependent linearity of 0.02% (minimum ±50 μm). It can handle maximum travel speeds of 10 m/s and accelerations up to 200 m/s². The device operates on a 24V DC power supply and has a maximum current consumption of 90 mA.

Built for industrial environments, the MME has an IP65 protection rating and can function in ambient temperatures from -40°C to 75°C. It features a 6-pin round plug connector conforming to DIN 45322 standards. The encoder's housing is made of anodized aluminum alloy, with a painted die-cast aluminum cover and a PBT-reinforced slide housing containing a permanent magnet.
