The Festo MS4-DL series is a line of pneumatically actuated soft start valves designed for slowly pressurizing pneumatic installations (for use with shut off valve EM(1) and EE). It is a 2/2-way valve that builds pressure gradually, avoiding sudden and erratic movements. The main seat opening is at approximately 50% of operating pressure. The duration of the pressure build-up is set using the restrictor attached to the valve cap. Additionally, there is an adjustable switching time delay.
