The Festo MS4N-DL Series Pneumatic Soft Start Valve builds up pressure gradually, and is designed for use with on/off valves MS4N-EM1 and MS4N-EE. The duration of the pressure build-up is adjusted using the restrictor attached to the valve cap. The output pressure p2 rises slowly in accordance with the restrictor setting. The main seat opens when the switch-through pressure is reached.
