The Festo VEMD Series Proportional Flow Control Valve is a dynamic mass flow rate regulator that operates quietly thanks to proportional valves. The integrated electronics with sensor detect, regulate, and proportionally dose the flow rate of air, oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and CO₂.

The VEMD includes an integrated piezo actuator. The flow rate is controlled via a closed-loop control circuit with integrated thermal sensor. An analog interface allows the set-point value for the flow rate to be specified and the actual value to be fed back.
