The Festo VN Series Vacuum Generator Cartridge can be inserted by drilling one hole in the machine and inserting the frameless generator. The cartridge is available with a high vacuum or high suction rate, and operates a compressed air medium to ISO 8573-1:2010 [7:4:4]. All Festo vacuum generators have a single-stage design and operate according to the Venturi principle. Vacuum is generated by a Laval nozzle.
