The Festo VOFD Series Valve is a directly controlled pilot valve for particularly demanded usage conditions. It serves as a redundant version for safety-related systems up to SIL3.

The VOFD is a special 3/2-way valve for process automation in chemical and petrochemical plants, and also serves as a pilot valve for butterfly valves and actuators. The sturdy design and high resistance to corrosion make the valve suitable for outdoor use under harsh ambient conditions.
