The Moxa EDS-2008 Series 8-Port Unmanaged Ethernet Switch has eight 10/100M copper ports and an IP40 rated plastic or metal housing, making this unit ideal for simple industrial networking needs. The EDS-2008 Series also allows users to enable or disable the Quality of Service (QoS) function, and broadcast storm protection (BSP) with DIP switches on the outer panel for greater versatility across applications.

The EDS-2008 Series is powered via a 12/24/48 VDC single input, has high-level electromagnetic compatibility, and resistance to electromagnetic interference. This switch has passed a 100% burn-in test, ensuring reliable functionality after deployment. The EDS-2008 Series has an operating temperature range of -10 to 60°C, and is compliant with PROFINET Conformance Class A, making it compatible with PROFINET networks (for models with hardware version 2.0.0 or later).
