The EDS-408A 8-Port Managed Ethernet Switch is designed with industrial-level applications in mind. The Ethernet interface includes eight 10/100BaseT(X) ports with RJ45 connectors, or six 10/100BaseT(X) and two 100BaseFX ports SC or ST connectors. Each unit is built out with useful management functions such as Turbo Ring (network redundancy), Turbo Chain, ring coupling, IGMP snooping, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, port-based VLAN, QoS, RMON, bandwidth management, port mirroring, and warning by email or relay. The Turbo Ring is easily setup via the web-based interface or via the DIP switches located on the top panel of each unit. The metal housing has an IP30 rating, up to -40 to 75°C operating temperature ranges, and includes ATEX, Railway, NEMA TS2, and DNV maritime certifications.
