The Moxa EDS-518E-4GTXSFP-T Managed Ethernet Switch is a compact design with an interface that includes fourteen 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet ports, and four Combo ports(10/100/1000BaseT(X) or 100/1000BaseSFP+) for fiber-optic communication. SFP modules sold separately (see Accessories tab). 

EDS-518E-4GTXSFP-T network redundancy technology layers Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, and STP/MSTP/RSTP protocols. Management functions include IGMP snooping, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, port-based VLAN, QoS, RMON, bandwidth management, port mirroring, and warning by email or relay. Network security standards of the EDS-518E-4GTXSFP-T are based upon IEC 62443, and include protocols such as RADIUS, TACACS+, MAB authentication, SNMPv3, IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, SSH, and sticky MAC address. 

The integrated switches feature a USB interface for switch configuration, system file backup, and firmware upgrades. The metal housing has an IP30 rating, and -T configuration affords a -40 to 75°C operating temperature range. Certifications include ATEX, Railway, NEMA TS2, and DNV-GL.
