Moxa EDS-P510A-8PoE-2GTXSFP Ethernet / PoE Switch

The Moxa EDS-P510A-8PoE-2GTXSFP Ethernet / PoE Switch is a managed switch model that integrates eight 10/100BaseT(X) ports that are PoE and PoE+ compliant, and two combo Gigabit/Ethernet ports (10/100/1000BaseT(X) or 100/1000BaseSFP+). SFP modules sold separately (see Accessories tab). The EDS-P510A-8PoE-2GTXSFP is classified as a power source equipment (PSE), able to be used to centralize power supplies, with up to 30W per PoE port, and up to 36W for industrial heavy duty devices such as weather-proof IP surveillance cameras with wipers/heaters, high-performing wireless access points and IP phones. The SFP fiber ports on this device can transmit data as far as 120km from the device, with high electromagnetic interference immunity.

EDS-P510A-8PoE-2GTXSFP network redundancy technology layers Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, and STP/MSTP/RSTP protocols. Management functions include IGMP snooping, IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, port-based VLAN, QoS, RMON, bandwidth management, port mirroring, and warning by email or relay. Smart PoE functions include diagnosis, scheduling, event warning, and PD failure check. Network security standards integrate TACACS+, SNMPv3, IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS, and SSH protocols.

The EDS-P510A-8PoE-2GTXSFP is designed with 3kV surge protection for harsh outdoor environments to increase the reliability of PoE systems. The metal housing has an IP30 rating, with a -10 to 60°C operating temperature range. Each unit meets CE, cULus, FCC, and NEMA TS2 standards.
