The Moxa ioLogik E2210 Smart Controller and I/O utilizes PC-based data acquisition, controlling I/O devices via event-based reporting and a click-and-go programming interface. When paired with a MX-AOPC UA Server, the ioLogik E2210 communicates with SCADA systems via active messaging that is transmitted to the server when state changes or configured events occur.

This model also features SNMP for communications and control using an NMS (Network Management System), which permits IT professionals to configure the device to push I/O status reports based on certain specifications. This report-by-exception approach, which is new to PC-based monitoring, greatly reduces the bandwidth required when compared to traditional polling methods.

The ioLogik E2210 comes with 12 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs, with a RS-485 standard port, and 10/100BaseT(X) Ethernet port. The unit meets CE, FCC, and cULus standards, with an operating temperature range of -10 to 60°C.
