Moxa MGate 5105-MB-EIP Ethernet Gateway

The Moxa MGate 5105-MB-EIP Ethernet Gateway facilitates Modbus RTU/ASCII/TCP and EtherNet/IP network communications with IIoT applications, based on MQTT or third-party cloud services, such as Azure and Alibaba Cloud. The MGate 5105-MB-EIP can be used as both Modbus master and slave to collect and exchange data with EtherNet/IP devices. The MQTT standard with supported cloud solutions on the MGate 5105-MB-EIP has advanced security and diagnostics to facilitate troubleshooting that provides scalable and extendable solutions in remote monitoring applications, such as energy and assets management.

The MGate 5105-MB-EIP is also equipped with a microSD card slot. With up to 32GB of storage available, this available memory is a highly useful back-up for system configuration and system logs, and can double as a cloning tool to copy settings to other MGate 5105-MB-EIP gateways. This unit also provides a web console for easy settings adjustments. Besides basic protocol configurations, the user can also monitor I/O data and transfers, with the I/O Data Mapping feature able to showcase data addresses for both protocols in the gateway’s memory. The I/O Data View interface is another useful tool for tracking data values for online nodes.

The MGate 5105-MB-EIP pairs versatile functionality with a durable design, including IP30 rated metal housing, a 0 to 60°C operating temperature range and ATEX and IECEx hazardous area certifications. This is a sturdy and adaptable Ethernet/IP gateway for various harsh industrial environments and applications.
