The Moxa NE-4110S Embedded Serial Device Server is designed to bring sophisticated network connectivity to existing serial devices. The NE-4110S can be used to convert any device with a standard serial interface to a 10/100Mbps Ethernet-enabled device, with ready-to-use operation modes including TCP Server, TCP Client, and UDP. A Real COM driver is also included for backward compatibility with legacy software. Units feature an SNMP and email alert system for cold/warm starts, password authentication failure, as well as a change in DSR/DCD line signal, IP address, or password.
