Description
The Moxa PT-G7828 Modular Managed Ethernet Switch is a Layer 3 model that hosts two T(X) ports, two SFP slots, six interface module slots, and two power module slots. This base port configuration ensures sufficient flexibility for a variety of applications, with up to 28 Gigabit ports possible depending on additional modules integrated. The PT-G7828 is designed for evolving network requirements, featuring a hot-swappable design which permits the user to add, remove or changeout modules while the switch is active. RJ45, SFP and PoE interface modules can be integrated with this unit, as well as 24 to 48VDC or 110 to 220VAC/VDC power units. This Ethernet switch also complies with the IEC 61850-3 Edition 2 Class 2 standard, ensuring reliable data transmission in the face of high levels of EMI, shock, or vibration.
The PT-G7828 is a rack-mountable design with an IP30 rated housing, and wide operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C. SFP modules, modules from the LM-7000H Module Series, and/or modules from the PWR Power Module Series need to be purchased separately for use with this product.
