Description
The Moxa UPort 1200/1400/1600 Series USB-to-Serial Converter is ideal for use with laptop or workstation computers that do not have a serial port. They are essential for connecting different serial devices in the field or separate interface converters for devices without a standard COM port or DB9 connector. The UPort 1200-G2 Series converts from USB to RS-232/422/RS-485, with USB 3.2 SuperSpeed capability, and optional 2kV optical isolation. Each unit comes with a USB cable that has a latch and screw lock for a more secure connection between the UPort and host computer. This series of converters is compatible with legacy serial devices, and can be used with instrumentation and point-of-sale applications. The metal housing is IP20 rated, with a standard operating temperature range of 0 to 60°C (-40 to 75°C for -T models).
