Festo DRRS Series Semi-Rotary Drive is a low-profile, lightweight unit that is ideal for handling units, assembly technology, general and machine tool construction, and battery production. These units are available in four sizes, 12 to 25mm, with elastic cushioning and torque ranges from 0.3 to 34Nm. The small dimensions of the DRRS make it ideal for integration into compact machines, such as those found in the electronics industry.

The DRRS series is recommended for production systems for manufacturing lithium-ion batteries. Metals with more than 1% copper, zinc, or nickel by mass are excluded from use. Exceptions are nickel in steel, chemically nickel-plated surfaces, circuit boards, cables, electrical plug connectors, and coils.
