Description
The Festo VTOI Series Distributor has a simple 8-channel dosing system that increases throughput while reducing the number of valves needed in a dispensing system. With its 9mm grid dimension and 8 outputs, the VTOI can easily be connected in a series and precisely matched to the microwell plate.
Two versions of the VTOI series are available: One that only dispenses media and one that can dispense and aspirate media. The minimum dispensing volume is 1μl. The typical dispensing precision CV is ≤3% for intra-run and ≤5% for tip-to-tip – right down to the microliter range.
The VTOI series is comprised of RoHS-compliant materials. Only high-performance PEI (ULTEM), PPS, FKM, ETFE, and high-alloy stainless steel materials come into contact with the media. This allows the VTOI series to dispense and aspirate aggressive media as well.
