Description

The SICK W24 Series Photoelectric Sensor has three base system configurations, including proximity sensor, though-beam sensor, and retro-reflective sensor. These models operate with a LED light source, using visible red or infrared light. Units are equipped with light, or light/dark switching mode, with various switching output options including relay, NAMUR, and NPN/PNP outputs. Sensing ranges can start from 0m and go up to 60m (through-beam models only). The high operating preserve and ambient light immunity ensures reliable, accurate results in harsh environments. An integrated heater for the front screen further supports reliable detection data in extreme temperatures. The rugged zinc die cast housing extends the service life of the sensor with durable protection, with integrated diagnostics for predictive maintenance.
