Description

The SICK V18V Series Photoelectric Sensor is available in proximity, retro-reflective, and through-beam configurations. Housing is constructed with stainless steel, with an IP68 and 69K rating. Laser-etched part numbers ensure reliable identification over time and in harsh environments. The V18V Series is ECOLAB and JohnsonDiversey certified, suitable for wash down applications, with chemical and pressure cleaning protections for all sensor components. The standard operating temperature is rated for up to 85°C, with the ability to operate at up to 100°C for a maximum of 15 minutes. The optional touch (smart) teach-in button offers easy adjustment and sensor lockability. Numerous sensing ranges are available, with a maximum of up to 20m with through-beam variants.
