Description

The SICK W10 Series Photoelectric Sensor design is a proximity sensor notable for its user-friendly sensitivity adjustment via touchscreen display. Each unit is outfitted with a class 1 laser, utilizing visible red light. Sensing ranges are extensive, with a max range of 25 to 700mm. Sensors integrate push-pull NPN/PNP outputs, and a light/dark switching mode. This sensor also come standard with the MultiMode feature. This allows the W10 to combine excellent foreground and background suppression with speed, standard and precision modes, depending on industry needs. 

The W10 Series sensors also feature an IO-Link interface, further increasing parameterization, diagnostic and remote monitoring capabilities. Housing material is V4A, 316L stainless steel, with Ingress Protection ratings IP67 and 69K. The highly adjustable parameters and sensitivity, Smart sensor configuration, and durable housing make the W10 well-suited to most industrial applications.
