Description

The SICK TranspaTect Series Photoelectric Sensor is a proximity sensor designed to detect transparent and semitransparent trays and bottles. This sensor operates without the need for reflectors, which paired with excellent foreground suppression increases overall accuracy. These units have a sensing range of up to 700mm depending on the model, with a PinPoint LED light source utilizing visible red light. The TranspaTect Series toggles between light and dark switching modes. Sensitivity is readily adjusted via the teach-in pushbutton. This sensor design offers reliable object detection with high-gloss, reflective, or uneven materials. The AutoAdapt feature allows for continuous threshold adaptation, making the TranspaTect Series sensors an ideal solution for packaging processes in the food/beverage, and pharmaceuticals industries.
