The SICK IMG Series Inductive Proximity Sensor is notable for advanced technology, with the integrated ASIC circuit chip enabling digital adjustment post the manufacturing process. This patented SICK circuit permits extremely precise switching points and repeatability of results, across a long service life.

IMG sensors are made flexible across a variety of applications, thanks to an IP67/68/69K-rated, nickel-plated brass enclosure. The IMG is highly resistant to coolants and lubricants due to the LCP sensing head cap, and PUR encapsulation. These sensors are approved for a standard temperature operating range of –40 to 85°C. With high electromagnetic compatibility, as well as shock and vibration resistance, the IMG Series make ideal candidates for mobile machinery.
