The SICK MZ2Q-C Series Cylinder Sensor is designed with two switching points, for the detection of end or intermediate positions in pneumatic cylinders, grippers, and carriages. Each switching point is individually adjustable via a teach-in pushbutton, with further configuration of parameters and diagnostic capabilities available with the IO-Link interface (with select models). With both switching points contained in one sensor housing, only one installation slot is needed, reducing mounting and cabling needs. The drop-in assembly design also ensures quick and easy sensor replacement. This series can be used with all standard C-slot cylinders, linear slides and grippers. With the aid of an adapter it is also compatible with round/tie- rod, and profile cylinders, as well as cylinders with a dovetail groove. Each unit has a detection range of up to 50mm.
