The SICK MZC1 VIA Series Cylinder Sensor provides an adaptable solution for piston position detection in pneumatic actuators. The sensor is easily installed into C-slot cylinders, with a simple quarter turn on a fixing screw to securely install. With the aid of an adapter, this series is also compatible with round/tie-rod, and profile cylinders, as well as cylinders with a dovetail groove. The MZC1 Series operates with PNP switching outputs, with NO output function. Each sensor is IO-Link enabled, permitting more flexible adjustment of sensor parameters to worked towards precise process control. The smart sensor design also enables a counter function, and internal housing temperature monitoring. Sensors come in a durable enclosure with up to a IP69K rating, dependent on configuration.
