The SICK MZCG Series Cylinder Sensor is a compactly designed piston position detection system that is able to sit fully recessed in the C-slots of miniature pneumatic actuators and pneumatic grippers like those utilized in the robotics industry. The housing permits compatible installation with most popular brand C-slot cylinders and grippers, including Festo, Zimmer, SMC and Schunk. The short switching point allows for precise detection data for small piston strokes. This increases process efficiency due to higher PSDI times. Each unit comes with an LED indicator for output status, with a durable, IP68 rated enclosure.
