Description

The SICK LUT9 Series Luminescence Sensor offers long sensing distances up to 150mm, with an interchangeable lens for system flexibility. The bar graph display shows luminescence intensity. Sensors come standard with a 0 to 13mA analog output, with an optional IO-Link for integration into machine control logic. This smart sensor interface enables data collection, and remote monitoring. The LUT9 Series offers switching frequencies of 0.5, 2.5, and 6.5kHz, permitting configuration for speed, or high resolution. The teach function, paired with manual fine adjustment makes this product family flexible to system needs. Due to the extended distances available between the sensor and the target material, mechanical adjustment is not required for marking detection on objects with varying thicknesses, such as lumber.
