Description

The SICK Dx50-2 Series Laser Distance Sensor is built around a class 1 or 2 laser, utilizing visible red light, with a sensing range of up to 30m. This design incorporates HDDM time-of-flight technology for highly reliable and accurate detection capabilities across the full color spectrum, including black objects. This advanced sensor is housed in a durable, IP65/67 enclosure that can weather harsh environments. This product family is highly versatile, with an IO-Link communication interface, as well as digital and analog outputs. The Dx50-2 Series offers up to 3,000 distance values per second for maximum processing speed. The sensing range, output rate and repeatability of the Dx 50-2 offers endless high adaptability to various application needs. Ambient operating temperatures range from –40 to 65°C, with extended ranges available with cooling plates and protection filter (contact a Motion World engineer for details).
