The SICK Dx500 Series Laser Distance Sensor offers an extensive measuring ranges without a reflector, up to 30m on black objects, 70m for white. This advanced sensor is housed in a durable, IP65-rated aluminum alloy enclosure, with user friendly display that is easily navigable. This product family is configurable with serial or CAN communication interfaces. Select variants also include 4 to 20mA / 0 to 20mA analog, and/or NPN/PNP digital outputs. Ambient operating temperatures range from –20 to 75°C, with extended ranges down to -40°C available with the optional heating feature for cold storage applications.
