The SICK C4000 Fusion Series Safety Light Curtain provides a muting alternative for access protection in automated material transport applications, as well as a high-availability device for general hazardous area/point protection. The highly developed pattern recognition technology, with self-teaching, dynamic blanking ensures reliable detection of goods vs humans, providing protection in dangerous areas of operation. Skids are detected, cables and other interference objects are blanked. This product series removes the need for additional components that other safety curtains require for muting applications, greatly reducing the chance of malfunction. The C4000 Fusion Series also includes features such as 2 virtual photelectric switches, integrated laser alignment, fixed blanking, and multiple sampling. Reduced resolution allows for adjustment to protect hands, or an entire person.
