The SICK M4000 Area Series Safety Light Curtain is a multi-light beam device for area protection, including the prevention of technicians standing behind the point-of-operation in application systems. The integrated output permits configuration and diagnostics to be performed via PC, with a scanning range max of 90m, depending on variant. An EFI interface further expands the functionality of the M4000 Area Series sensors. This product family includes features such as external device monitoring (EDM), restart interlock, application diagnostics, and an SLD interface. The IP65 rated enclosure is a durable design with mounting grooves along three sides, ensuring flexible installation. The 7-segment display forms an easy-to-navigate user interface.
