Description

The SICK DGS80 Series Encoder is built for accurate measurement of large motor shaft rotation up to 3,600rpm, with up to 8192 pulses per revolution. The through hollow shaft design of this encoder series offers 30 and 42mm diameter variants, with individually adjustable, insulated collets. The various connections options, including M23, M12, MS and cable connections, paired with an approved voltage range of 4.5 to 30VDC makes the DGS80 Series a versatile choice for various automated processes. The standard-issued clamping ring permits a quick and easy installation process. Each unit also includes a universal stator coupling, with a wide selection of collets available as accessories to this product series for adjustment to differently sized shafts (collets sold separately, please contact a Motion World engineer for details).
