Description
The SICK ACS/ACM36 Series Encoder provides absolute position measurements in single- and multi-turn varaints, with an analog communication interface with a maximum overall resolution of up to 3,723 steps. The compact design of this encoder allows it to be used in confined spaces, facilitating more freedom during machine design and development. Programming the ACS/ACM36 measuring range is intuitive and done via the teach-in function on the membrane keyboard. The ACS/ACM36 come in two communication interface variants; the 4 to 20mA current-driven version with 2,979 steps per revolution or the 0 to 10V voltage-driven version with 3,723 steps per revolution.
