Description
The SICK DAX Series Linear Encoder is designed to determine the absolute position of piston rods in hydraulic cylinders and linear movements in industrial plants. The DAX series is a wear and maintenance-free unit that utilizes magnetostrictive technology. It features a flexible system architecture that enables properties like backward compatibility with manufacturer-specific position magnets. Other intelligent functions for condition monitoring allow for predictive maintenance and creating machine condition transparency. This minimizes unplanned downtime and increases efficiency. With the DAX series' high system flexibility, low space requirements, and customizable functions, it is easy to integrate into new or existing machine systems.
