The SICK CLV50x Series Barcode Scanner is a compact unit that offers excellent decoding performance with a large depth of field for flexibility within an application. This scanner uses a fixed focus with 0.15 to 1mm code resolution for 1D code identification and comes in two versions. The CLV503 has a scanning frequency of 100Hz and is ideal for slow-moving applications. The CLV505 offers a high scanning frequency of 1000Hz and is suitable for conveyor speeds of up to 5m/s. Both variants have fast and easy commissioning using enclosed configuration barcodes and an online tool.

The CLV50x series is part of the miniature line of barcode scanners, allowing it to be installed in situations with limited space. It provides fast and reliable reading performance, even on codes that have been partly damaged or poorly printed. It also features simplified setup and troubleshooting with the pushbutton trigger, LED indicator, and audible beep.

The ultra-compact design makes this series ideal for applications in the OEM and machine builder marketplace, such as packaging systems, circuit board processing, clinical analyzers, and robotic inspection.
