The SICK CLV61x Series Barcode Scanner is a compact device with versatile communication interfaces that allow it to be integrated into many application types. The CLV61x series has a fixed optical focus and features 0.1 to 1mm code resolution with a maximum reading distance of up to 705mm. Depending on the device variant, the CLV61x can be equipped with integrated heating allowing it to work reliably even in deep freeze environments down to -35°C.

The CLV61x series offers variants to ensure flexible connection to all common fieldbus and industrial Ethernet interfaces. Depending on the variant, it can be used as multiplexers in any SICK CAN sensor network, so additional multiplexers are not required. Depending on the model, communication interface options include Serial, CAN, PROFINET, PROFIBUS DP, EtherCAT, USB, and IO-Link.
